I am magnetised.

and she would never realise

that her face could light up

mine with just one smile.

she will never realise,

that she is perfection

and how her affection

towards me is surreal.

I am magnetised to

a woman who will

never see how fond

i think it is to still

throw pennies in a pond.

or to see how magical

it is for her to still

keep a collection of snow

globes and think its

a phob.

but its year 2000 and

i like to think i still

have a chance;

til the world's end

to

hold you

kiss you

and love you  til

this body of mine

doesn't look so kind.

even if i don't do those

precious things

i'd look at you again

and think the world

is too generous, for me to wake up

everyday to see that;

big goofy smile plastered upon

your face.

and that's my case,

that i will never be in your place

to face how beautiful you look

in the sunlight.
